Support

Questions, problems, or something not working as it should? Write to support@operaone.app and we will get back to you. It helps to include your device model, your iOS version, and the name of the piece you were working on.

Getting started

Signing in

Opera One uses Sign in with Apple. There is no separate password to create or remember. If you chose to hide your email address, Apple gives us a private relay address instead — everything works the same way.

Choosing a piece

Browse the catalogue by work, composer or voice type. Each piece shows its tessitura, so you can tell at a glance whether it sits well for your voice.

Singing with the orchestra

Starting a session

Open a piece and start it. The backing track plays and the score follows the music.

Following the score

The score scrolls in time with the track. If you want to go back over a passage, scroll it with your finger — the score switches to manual and stops following. When you are ready to sing along again, tap Sync and it returns to the music.

Pinch to zoom if you need a closer look.

Recording your performance

What gets recorded, and where it goes

A portrait video with your voice and the backing track together, saved to your device’s photo library. It stays on your device: we do not upload it. You can review it, compare attempts, share it with your teacher, or delete it — it is an ordinary video in your library.

Permissions

The first time you record, iOS asks for camera, microphone and photo library access. All three are needed for recording to work.

If you said no by mistake: iOS never asks again once you decline. Open iOS Settings → Opera One and turn the permissions back on. The App also offers an Open Settings button on the blocked screen to take you straight there.

Recording does not start

Check that no other app is using the camera, and that the phone is held upright: recording is portrait.

Subscription

What it includes

Full access to the catalogue, the synced score, and performance recording. There is a monthly plan and a yearly plan; current prices are shown in the App before purchase and vary by country.

Free trial

If you are eligible, the subscription starts with a free trial. The exact length is shown on the purchase screen before you buy. If you do not cancel before it ends, the subscription starts.

Managing or cancelling

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not inside Opera One:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Select Opera One and choose your plan or cancel

Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.

Restoring a purchase

New phone, or reinstalled the App? Open the subscription screen and tap Restore purchases. Use the same Apple Account you subscribed with.

Refunds

Purchases go through Apple, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue them ourselves.

A payment failed

Apple retries for a while and access continues during that grace period. If it cannot be recovered, access ends until the subscription is renewed.

Your data

Exporting your data

Profile → Settings → Privacy → export. You get a downloadable archive of what we hold about you.

Deleting your account

Profile → Settings → Privacy → delete account. You confirm by typing the confirmation word, are signed out immediately, and deletion completes within 30 days.

Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — cancel that in your Apple Account settings — and does not touch recordings already in your photo library, which are yours to keep or delete.

Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
