Terms of Use
Effective date: 19 July 2026
These Terms govern your use of the Opera One mobile application and related services (“Opera One”, the “App”), provided by Opera One SRL, Corso Re Umberto 7, 10121 Torino, Italy (“we”, “us”).
By creating an account or using the App you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the App.
1. What Opera One is
Opera One is a study tool for singers. It gives you a catalogue of operatic repertoire with orchestral backing tracks, a score that scrolls in time with the track, and the ability to record your own performance as a video saved to your device’s photo library.
Opera One is not a substitute for a singing teacher and does not provide medical, vocal health, or professional career advice.
2. Your account
You sign in with Sign in with Apple. We do not operate passwords for Opera One, and we never ask you for your Apple ID credentials.
You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the App, or older where your country requires it. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you may use the App only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
3. Subscriptions, trial and billing
Access to the full catalogue and to study features requires an auto-renewing subscription, offered as a monthly or a yearly plan. Current prices are shown in the App before purchase and may differ by country.
- Free trial. If you are eligible, the subscription starts with a free trial. The trial length is stated on the purchase screen before you buy. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged.
- Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple Account on confirmation of purchase.
- Renewal. The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Managing and cancelling. You manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings, not in the App. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its own policy; we cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases.
- Who you buy from. Opera One SRL provides the service. The App Store listing and billing are operated by Lisari s.r.l. ICC, part of the same group, so your Apple receipt and payment statement may show that name.
If a payment fails, Apple may keep your access active for a short grace period while it retries. If the payment is not recovered, access ends.
Withdrawal (EU/EEA consumers)
If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. Because the subscription gives you immediate access to digital content, you expressly request immediate performance at purchase and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once access begins. This does not affect your statutory rights against Apple as the seller of record.
4. Your recordings and content
Recordings you make with Opera One are yours. They are saved to your device’s photo library.
You keep all rights in your recordings. You grant us no licence to publish, distribute or train on them. Where a feature requires processing a recording, we ask for your consent first, we tell you what the processing is for, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
You must not use Opera One to record other people without their consent, or to create content that is unlawful.
5. The catalogue
The repertoire, backing tracks, scores and related materials in the App are licensed to us or to our partners and are protected by copyright. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use them inside the App for your own study.
You may not extract, copy, redistribute, publicly perform for commercial purposes, resell, or use the backing tracks or scores outside the App. Sharing a recording of your own performance for non-commercial purposes is permitted.
Catalogue content may change: works may be added or removed as licences change.
6. Acceptable use
Do not: reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with the App; bypass the subscription or any technical protection; use automated means to extract content; interfere with the service or other users; or use the App in breach of applicable law.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Opera One available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, third-party outages and network conditions can interrupt it. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we make a change that materially reduces what a paid subscription provides, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel.
8. Ending your access
You may stop using Opera One at any time and delete your account from Profile → Settings → Privacy. Deleting your account removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy; it does not by itself cancel an active subscription, which you must cancel in your Apple Account settings.
We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
9. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data; and our total liability in connection with the App is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
If you are a consumer, you keep all mandatory rights under the consumer law of your country, and nothing here reduces them.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is material we will give notice in the App or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Opera One after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you may also rely on the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country. The EU Online Dispute Resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
